First off, about the Christmas gift from the Den
Thank you and those in the Den for your very thoughtful Christmas present. The bookends are beautiful. I have always wanted to run with the hounds. I have never, but now, at least, I feel as if I am accoutered as if I had once. I have yet to use the Barnes and Noble Gift card. I am looking forward to it. I just haven't been able to bring myself to yet, knowing that I haven't written to thank you. Now that I have, I will . . . and soon.
For those of you who did not see the Christmas gift, we gave David a pair of bookends that had an equestrian engraved in them. See the pic below. We also sent him a gift cert to B&N ...

David also wanted to thank everyone for their support:
Please, please, please express my thank yous to those involved in supporting me over the years. They, with you, have been constant. And though I have not begun to express it enough, I have always appreciated it and it has always made me very happy.
He did also mention his gig in St. Louis at the Shakespeare Festival:
I will be playing, in Julius Caesar, the one role that Justin Deas and I, and many other actors though out history, have agreed should never be played by any actor in their right mind, Marcus Brutus. That's right, "Et tu, Brute." Or so at least saith Caesar to me, as I, or so it is described by the ancient Roman historian Plutarch, thrust my sword into his 'privities.'
So, if you attend, make sure you mention that youre a Denner.
