Well, I did make it down for the play. It was touch and go for awhile because of the weather, but I decided to take the day off work on Monday and extend my stay. It worked out perfectly.
The show was really good. It was a good adaptation of the story, and David was excellent (of course). He played about 6 different characters, including the Ghost of Christmas Present. That was a fun role. David even got to disappear through the floor!
Anyway, I was originally scheduled to meet David after the play, but he totally forgot I was coming that night. DOH!
But, we did meet up on Sunday after his matinee, and I gave him the holiday messages from everyone. He loved them, and he actually ended up reading all of them right then and there.
I also gave him the Christmas gift from the Den, which he also loved. He sends his gratitude to everyone at the Den. And, he sends some holiday greetings (see the "Messages from David" forum).
As for GL, as of now, he has not been asked back for 2008. So, if Edmund is returning, he knows nothing about it at this point. He said he probably would come back to GL if asked, and he may do another soap (in NY) if asked. But, he's also going to look into other things. If he's going to come back to GL, I'm sure he'll tell us, but there's certainly no guarantee that will happen.
But, he's doing well, and he wishes all of you the best.

I see him land a contract role in daytime again. I mean, do I have to conceive a firstborn and send it to Frank Valentini??? 
He can't have my cat. 
Shame on him for forgetting that you would be there but luckily you were able to see him the next day and have dinner with him too!
