Yet another week with a lot of Edmund letters. In all seriousness, what will LR be about once Edmund is gone. He has been dominating LR for over 2 years now ...

I've been reading your letter rip and I am surprised by all the letters complaining about the show. I have been watching for over 20 years and I love the characters and the acting on Guiding Light but it is a soap opera not real life and these are actors not real people. We need a bad guy and Edmund does an excellent job. Much easier for me to believe him capable of stealing Michelle's baby then to believe he had left his evil ways because of his love for Cassie. As for Reva, they are a wonderful couple but a lot of people go through times when they wonder if they've missed something. I want them together but I like seeing that it isn't always easy. Anytime you guys come up with some silly story line I enjoy trying to figure it out and move on to the next storyline. Keep up the good work.

When is that &^%$# Eddie going to get his? I am sick of him. I don't particularly like Dinah, but what he is doing to her is absolutely criminal. I'll be glad when we don't have to see the likes of him anymore.

I am a very big fan of Guiding Light, I grew up watching it and I really am getting tired of Edmund and his shady deals. Edmund stealing Michelle's daughter is basically the last straw. I do not want to quit watching and I won't but please reveal the truth about the baby.

Nobody does it better than David Andrew Macdonald! The expressions, the quips, the sheer unrelenting and optimistic way that he goes about his job - I can always count on DAM to deliver an entertaining performance and lift my spirits when watching GL, no matter what crazy SL the writers have going on. Edmund may be B-A-D, but DAM is soooo G-O-O-D!! Thank you David for keeping me watching!

The story of Edmund stealing Michelle's baby is not only sickening but unreal. Dinah has not seen a doctor in months and the doctor has not said anything to Cassie about it. If she delivered without the doctor being present wouldn't she ask Cassie about the baby or how Dinah is doing? How come the baby has not been to a doctor to be checked out? Aren't there standard blood tests a baby takes when it's born to make sure it is in good health?!

I really loved today's show (09-12). I am dying to hear more about Jeffrey but that love scene with Jeffrey/Cassie on the sofa and then Dinah/Edmund on the duplicate sofa was smoking! Also loved the scenes with Cassie, Jeffrey and baby Hope bonding!

I love Guiding Light. The Edmund story is great. I watch because I see actors that are pushed to the edge deliver a great story line. The art imitates life and I don't want to just see a kissy kissy story. I want to see just how far an actor can take his character and how the actor can make the character real. I don't want Danny to go back to Michelle that is a done story line and is played out. Keep up the good work GL. I will keep watching.

Also being a long time viewer of GL, I am not happy with most of the couples on the show. Come on...Reva and Josh...it's time to make them the strong couple. The GLUE! The rest of the couples all stupid. Cassie and Jeffrey, Tammy and Sandy, Beth and Alan etc. Stupid! Time for Michelle and Danny to reunite and enjoy their family, including the baby, regardless. Time for Dinah to recruit Jonny and get some revenge on Eddie...unless Danny gets him first!
P.S. I'm not interested in bringing Phillip back unless it's the real thing! NO stand-ins!!! PLEASE...We Can't Take Anymore!
P.P.S. Let's see more of Billie Sr. Maybe he could save Beth from Alan???

Does anyone else think that it's a little much for Jeffrey to be suddenly such a family man? I hope that Danny and Marina stay together even though Michelle had a baby who was possibly Danny's. I would really like to see Michelle get her baby back and the truth come out about Edmund's sick plan. He is pure evil to steal a child from its mother and pass it off as Cassie's.

I'm sorry you guys are getting so many bad comments about the Edmund baby storyline. I thought it was great and it really made me start being a fan of GL again. I also like the chemistry between Jonathan and Tammy (I know they're cousins), but maybe you can make them somehow not related? Tom Pelphrey is such an awesome actor - I wish I could watch him everyday. Please don't let Jonathan hook up with this Ava chick. Not seeing the two together at all! Anyway great job and I hope your ratings go up.

I find Marina so ADMIRING, because, she is being a good friend to Michelle, and she is the only one trying to investigate Michelle's accident!!! I have to admit, if I was Marina, I would not try to help the person who wants my man!!! Marina and Danny belong together, and they are such a realistic and romantic couple, I hope they end up with each other, and I hope the baby is Tony's!!! PLEASE LET MARINA BE HAPPY WITH DANNY FINALLY! Nancy was absolutely heartbreaking today as she contemplated the loss of her baby daughter while Edmund and Cassie enjoyed "their" baby girl. Michelle's tears and sense of loss was so poignant. I hope that she finds out the truth about Hope and that she can put her life back together soon. Michelle's life has unfairly been torn apart and others are benefiting from it. My wish for this story is that there is serious, painful payback for the ones who are profiting from her sorrow.

I am just disgusted by the actions of Cassie and Jeffrey. Cassie and Jeffrey started having sex on the porch of her house knowing that her husband was on her way home. Jeffrey acts like he is the baby's father constantly trying to take the baby from Edmund and always being where he is not wanted or needed. I would rather watch Edmund as a baby-stealing jerk than your two heroes, Cassie and Jeffrey and that says a lot.
