family's leader Flower's life from her birth in 2000 to her death in 2007.

After the snake bite - Flower did not die right then, she lingered for awhile, the other Whiskers went out to get food-
while they were gone - Flower passed away and the researchers took her body away, so the family doesn't know she died, just that she is not there anymore
and her mate Zaphod wasn't roving for female meerkats he has been searching for Flower.

There is good word about the Meerkat Manor movie that will be shown on Animal Planet 5/25 - those who have seen it
love it and say have the kleenex ready and the photography is amazing.

The MM movie is suppose to begin with Flower's birth during a sandstorm - her mother's name was Holly - lot
of fans are hoping they get see Flower as pup - guess we will just have to wait to see 5/25.

The MM movie will be shown again on AP 5/30 and also there will be a special
about the researchers who have been researching meerkats since 1993.

Liked the MM movie, but thought there were way too many commercial breaks -
would have like to have seen the whole movie without the interruptions - liked seeing Flower as a pup growing up and into a leader - also like the hint at the
end that there may be a Shakespeare movie.

After watching Science of Meerkats about the meerkat researchers - I know a
lot of women thinking AP should give Tim Flower his own show.

season of MM is getting closer this Fri. 6/6 - there are a couple of MeerkatCams at Miami zoo and Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado Springs, CO - the meerkats are out in the yards
during the daytime an at when it's sunny and above 40 degrees.
