Hi David, it is Gail from St Louis.
You look good in that outfit much better than the toga you wore for our play. I hope you are having a good time and are enjoying doing something different. Of course, I want to see you on my TV screen soon. You might know that Tom Pelphrey and Stephanie are leaving GL soon. Tom Pelphrey says he wants to do plays. I would love to see the two of you in a play together. All the Best, Gail |

Dear David,
Each day that you're absent from GL is a blue day for your fans. We miss you and our good friend Edmund! I'm with Gail. I would love to see you back on my televsion screen or acting in a play or a movie with Tom Pelphrey. Preferably an English period piece. I'm disappointed that we didn't get to see the two of you interact more on GL, and I think that was a huge opportunity missed. Don't even get me started! I just watched a clip of your scene with Brittany Snow (prior to Edmund's coronation), and I found myself in tears once again over Edmund's tenderness with young Susan. What a fabulous character he was... thanks to your stellar acting and Claire Labine's superb penmanship. I know Edmund was a villain, but that's how I loved him best... with a mere trace of his heart showing. Years ago, I told my husband about a dream I had where I was so in love with Edmund that I was giddy. My husband smiled and said, "That's not a dream!" LOL! Yep, that Edmund was a fascinating character, and I hope he escapes from the looney bin and feeds Cassie to the sharks. I told him to do that years ago, but he didn't listen, much to my chagrin. Thanks, David, for helping to put the light in GL for so many years. My best to you, your wife, and children and my thanks to them for sharing you with us. Kindest regards, Rue Somewhere in Chicago, a pole is missing its skank. Cassie, go home! |

Hi, David!
This is Sarah from Pittsburgh, PA. I just wanted to tell that you are incredibly blessed with your gift of acting. I have watched you as Edmund on Guiding Light and I miss seeing you on there and hearing your voice. Other than that I just wanted to congradulate you on your play right now. While watching you on GL as Edmund I have had a blast seeing you on there with the amazing acting abilities that you have. Anyway, since you have been on GL, while I was watching the show in 2001, you have been my favorite daytime actor and I was so disappointed when you left the show. I still watch the old clips of you and Laura as Cassie and Edmund to relive the memories. I hope that you have a great experience during this play. You will be a great Mr. Wickham, I know you will be. I have faith in you that you will be excellent. I wish that I could see you at the play but College is here and I can't so I will have to miss it and you. But I hope that you will have more plays down the road. I would really love to hear from you and how you are doing so far after Guiding Light. I constantly rewatch the old clips everyday to not miss you but I really miss you. I have also seen the clips from 2000 of Lizzie's leukemia storyline and it has some great acting by you as Edmund. I also seen the clips of you as Edmund and Harley with the rest of the cast that you had scenes with back in August 2000. That had some hilarious dialogue, including the part of where Harley tells Edmund that he has the warmth of aligator eyes. Also I have seen almost all of the old Edmund clips from 2000 and 2001 and they are great. You are so needed right now on Guiding Light and it would be a blessing to see you back on there with what is happening now on the show with Olivia and Ava. Hope that you can keep in touch because I would love that if you did. God bless. |

David,
Congratulations on your role in "Pride & Pejudice." I think you are perfect to play Mr. Wickham. After watching you on Guiding Light for 6 years I know you will have no trouble "charming the pants off women" in the role. I can't believe it's been almost a year since you left Guiding Light. I really, really miss your portrayal of Edmund and all the romance, deception, humor, and conflict that he brought to the show. I am glad that you are doing well and hope that your family is too. Thanks for keeping in touch with your fans. You are the best!! Regards, Janet |

David,
Oh October just isn't the same this year without going to NYC to meet you. Congrats on the role in "Pride and Prejudice". You will be great. You look very good in the time period, so as someone else already said, you'll have NO problem...ya know I hope that all is well with you. There is a certain void left, without seeing you on our screens daily. But I am glad that you are enjoying yourself and keeping busy. Good luck with everything. Give my regards to your family...oh and Happy Birthday, Ian. ~Angela, "your biggest and tallest fan" haha ~*ANGELA*~

Hi David, This is Shanna (I met you at GL Gatherings '04 & '05) I was the person (in the wheelchair) at the '05 gathering that asked if you could sign my picture as "Edmund" & you looked at me & said, "I don't think anyone has ever asked me to autograph anything as Edmund before!" Then you signed my "Edmund picture collage" as Edmund Sebastian Winslow. I just wanted to say, congratulations on the part in "Pride and Prejudice" I know you will be fantastic!! I am also one that feels the enormous loss of seeing you/Edmund on our screens daily. And I know that you will carry this new role with all the elegance that you brought to Pince Edmund! Take Care, Shanna Beck |

It is me again, David. It is too bad you are not doing a play in St. Louis right now. Everyone is so thrilled with the Cardinals and their standings so far. You could wear the Cardinals shirt I gave you. My mom still hates her pictures taken with you and won't give her permission to put them on the forum. I HOPE you let Jen take a lot of pictures of you in different costumes. I like the boots and pants.
Bye again, Gail |
