Okay, it's what....THREE in the morning if you're a New Yorker? Oh well, I do not have class until two tomorrow, and I may not even have that class. However,my computer has a VIRUS, so the tech people are coming at 10 am tomorrow to check it out again. Therefore, due to fear that maybe something would go wrong and I wouldn't be able to give you this recap for another....month, I just HAVE to do it now. I hate this though, because this year there was SOOOOO much stuff to remember. I mean....you all already know this year was special. And even as I type, I have jotted down details next to me, because I just really do NOT want to forget anything............

Here we go.............

Okay, so we get on the Long Island Railroad to head into NYC. The two most tense most hyper women you'll ever find, if you do not want to be made nervous...do not talk to my mother and I LOL!!! Although, on the train we were half calm. Anyway....we saw a poster right near where we were sitting for "Sex and the City", and I said to my mom...."That's a good omen/sign!!! DAM was on that!!!!"

Yes, in case you have not not realilzed this by my THIRD fan event recap, when it comes to all things DAM, I'm quite pathetic.

So we go up to the floor it's on, and I never realized last year that there's a Julliard room at the Marriot. Yeah, you guess it, I took THAT another "omen" as well. Yes, I should probably be committed....

We chatted on line with a lady behind us, while waiting to sign in. Talked about the show, obviously. Talked about David. This person had actually seen him on AW too, which I thought was cool!!! So then we get all registered, and we get to go in...........but OMG, this year they freakin gave us HOMEWORK!!!!!!!!! A survery? GMAB!!! My mom was soo flustered. She's so bad with these things. She's like...."Oh...Angela, what did you put for number 6?" LOL!!! However, I will say the survey was good for frustration. Getting to grade Edmund as EXCELLENT and Jeffrey as POOR, really just DID IT for me!!! (Sorry Mal!!!) LOL!

So then we met up with everyone.....Nancy, Mirriam, Jen, Mal and her mother, some other people....nice to see everyone!!!

Time to get in the room and look at the lovely food they give us that I'm always too nervous to eat. I ate the most I've ever eaten this year, I believe LOL! And I did drink the coffee. Coffeee!!! YAY!!!!! LOL!!!

Oh...then there was the RAFFLE!!! Now, I was quite annoyed that David is leaving the show, and yet they cannot raffle off ANYTHING of his?? C'mon....I'd have paid big bucks at a shot at that purple tux jacket, or his crown, or the lucky shirt....LOL! That was bad!!! However, I found the next best thing, the newspaper that came out when Ross tried to get Dinah out of the country and Eddie "saved" her. I figured, heck that was funny, it relates to Edmund somehow and Ross is great so............this is good. And we eneded up WINNING it!!! The one younger girl at our table got a kick out of me because just as I said, "Oh we put in a ticket for that..." I'm like..."Oh we won!!!" Also, that girl was 16, which I found REALLY sweet becuase that was how old I was when I first met David and this was her first fan event too. That's actually how it all started for me. My mom and I agreed, "Okay this is your sweet 16 belated bday present, a ONCE in a lifetime thing that we'll never do again....." So much for that!!! So yay we won something. I was quite happy!!!

So then I went to see if the bathroom was croweded or whatever, thinking maybe I'd run into some stars...I caught Scott Bailey coming the other way and said Hi to him. He's deff. cute!!! So that made me happy, I head back in.....

Side note: Our table was very impressed with my mother and I because Mindy, the fan club president, always has a sore throat at these things, and WE were the only ones at the table who could understand her, we felt like translators!!! Very odd. The useless talents that we posess....

So then then aired a DVD. The first one was very cute; sorta the case just caugh hangining out. There was a VERY cool, cute, hot shot of David hoola-hooping around his NECK!!! He had the hoop going around his neck!! Very cool. I can't even do it regularly............LOL!!!! They also showed some of what we've seen and some of what is to come. They showed Dinah and Edmund in a car together and also Edmund hitting Danny with something....to which I cheered, which probably wasn't the rightt thing to do...

So....on to THE STARS!!! Robert Newman did intros this year, and I like him so I thought they were good. Also loved that this year's event was held in a different room, and the stage was more close to us and more intimate. Seemed that way. Anyway...........they went through some cast members, and I of course am getting all tense....omg will he be here? I saw that his pic was up at a table with MOL's so....that reassured me, but you know me....I don't relax until we're on the line LOL! Anyway...........Robert Newman suddenly says...........

"The Prince Of Darkness!!!"

The audience cheers....I go crazy...........everyone is already going wild, he introduces David, David walks out.........everyone STANDS UP!!!! Cheers Cheers!!! I'm standing going crazy all insanely excited and thinkng it was cute how he gave the Mindy lady a nice hug!!! And then my mother and I get crazy about how HOT he looks and what he's wearing. Never one to ignore detail....David came out looking very sexy in jeans that were fitted in all the right places , a greyish blue long sleeve t shirt, worn over a pink polo shirt. (Shoes were cool btw too...but couldn't see them then LOL). He looked HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So David comes to them mic and people are still going crazy about him. He said how he'd gotten a lot of compliments on his pink shirt, and that he wanted to meet everyone and that he didn't care how long it took and "I will stay until they Drrrrag me out!!!!" My mom and I cheered at that!!! And then he's like, "And I'll be seated with the wonderful Micheal O' Leary..." I'm so glad they got to sit together. Then he said something to the audience, and my mom cheered and said something very loud and sorta connected to him on the stage cuz he made a face etc........I really forget what it was though, but my mom was sitting there going......."Oh I got him, oh he saw me!!!" LOL!!!

So then I just sit and watch how cute he is interacting with the others on stage. Him and MOL always in some funny conversation, then of course there was the part where poor RPG almost fell through the partition door or something..HA!!! And he chatted with CH up there and also was cute with the boy who plays Robbie...I saw him bend down and chat with him a bit. So yeah I "Awww-ed" etc.... Now the priceless moment was when we saw David and Michael (BTW, David said they would do a five hour comedy skit later, and after seeing them with each other....I say they need to get a talk show...) attempted to FIND where they were seated in the room. They looked all around....squinted looked all OBLIVIOUS and CONFUSED my mom and I are back there gesturing, pointing to where it is. It was so funny they like had their heads near each other and they were trying to find it. FINALLY, I think MOL found it LOL!!! And pointed. Then David ended up going the opposite way of him to get to their table anyway...

Okay the mad dash to David's table!!! We were this year afraid of being there too soo because for some reason David took detour in getting to the table and MOL was sort of chililng there for a few. So....David gets there! YAY!!!! Let the party begin!! LOL!!! We're waiting on line, watching him with everyone. Honestly, its fun imo to just watch how they interact with each other and fans, its' very telling imo...to see how they "behave", I geuss you'd say. Anyway...we're getting closer and David finally spots us............and says in the most CASUAL way............

"Oh Hi Angela...."

Seriously.....as if we freakin' chill every Friday or something. My mom is like.........in shock and ME, I finally realized that anytime David has said to me "Oh Hi..." I never do say "Hi" back..I always SPAZZ out! LOL!!! So then there was one more person in front of us, and she wanted to know if I could take the pic for her but she wanted me to look through the viewfinder and not the big thing on the digi cam, so I'm like umm..or maybe she was like "Who can take this?" Anyway.......David goes........"Angela is a great picture taker!!!" I'm like...."ummm......." LOL! That was just too funny. I thought of school, when someone knows you don't want to do something, so they say you do or that you're the best at it LOL! David: "Oh Angela's a wonderful photo taker..." riight. Then my mom thought maybe he meant that as a JOKE for all the years we've been "camera inept"....but who knows?? So I take the shot, and it looked okay....I really felt like saying, "if you're in it...DUH it's great..." But I didn't want to sound stupid.

So....OUR turn!!!! I forget what happened first. Actually, David may have half been distracted with something at Frank D's table right next to him or something, becuase I seem to remember my mom saying something, and David sort of had to "return" to us and he got all "What what? What did I do?" So then I start in with..."Last year when you weren't at the Bloss Bowling....HE(MOL) did an impersonation of YOU for me!!" and David goes...."Oh it's SLANDEROUS, it's just slanderous isn't it?" And I'm thinking....ah....no actually it was very good and funny LOL!!! So I think at this point my mom gave him the gift bag over the table........and David gave my mother a HUG across the table. This made me very happy because in all the years we go my mom is always like, "Well I get NOTHING with David you get it all........." which is why this year I made sure that 1) the pic was signed "HI ANN" - as David asked, "Is that with an "E"?" LOL and that 2) she got to have a lot of huggy like stuff with him......LOL!! I mean c'mon...she's been watching for 30 years and if it wasn't for her, I'd have never discovered it so....yeah. So David takes the bag and is all his usual, "Oh thank you, oh that's so sweet..." My mom gave him the photo to sign...and THIS is a fun moment...David takes it and sorta drops it on the table and extends his arms and hands out and goes..."DAMN, I'm good looking!!!!!!!!!!" and My mom goes..."Yes...you ARE!!!" and David goes.........."I think I'm a geek". And we're like awww and then my mom talking about me says "well that's what SHE thinks of herself too which is why she loves you, its like her in a male version." And then David says, well if I'm wrong about myself then you're even more wrong about yourself..." AWWW!!! So then we go around the table to take pics and stuff. (I hope I'm not forgetting something...) and at this point I begin to tell him how we're going to miss him so much and all that and then I started to say...."Because I started watching you when I was not even a freshman in high school and now I'm a freshman in college..." and that's ALL I needed to say and David interjected, "Yes, I know I read your letter it was very sweet..." and I was so happy that he got it for one, and shocked that he'd even read it because I know his last airdate was the 6th I sent it out..maybe on the 3rd......so...I really didn't expect him to get it...so I ended up including a copy in the giftbag. But anyway...I just found it adorable how all he needed was that one quote and he was off. And I said how I worried he may not get it etc...and he was saying hwo no he gets all my letters, sees postings etc...........and I just love the way he'll say........"That was very sweet thank you..." in that VOICE of his, just the way he says it exudes such sincerity and you can hear that he's truly touched by it. I just think that's awwwwwww!!!! So we sorta move on....but we know we'll be back and we again confirm that he'll stick around, etc. Pretty much David knows he's not done with us yet...LOL

So we then went to the line right next to David and MOL's, hehehe its' always good to observe. So i got to see Jen give him the David's Den stuff and I was happy to see the Davids Den shirt! David seemed happy with that he was like holding it up and stuff!!! Then David REMOVED his long sleeve t shirt and the line went "Woowhooo!" as usual and David gave his usual look and it was soo cute cuz the collar on his polo shirt was all messed up so Frank D ( love him) came over and FIXED one side of it for him and then Nancy fixed the other one and my mom and I are all "Awww"!!! LOL! So we meet Frank D..........he's awesome! I really love him he 's great. He told ME that I reminded him of his sister, which I found nice. He said it with endearment...Frank rocks!!!

We saw SB and SG and SG said that when David came out to the standing ovation she had tears in her eyes. Awww!!! I told her the SB wouldn't like the "Cousins Rock" t-shirt and she laughed.

We went to JvD who really is awesome!!! He's just great. So honest and so witty. Love him. We posed with what we won cuz it related to him.

Headed over to the little kids table. Personally, I found myself getting very excited to meet these ADORBALE little tykes. I give them credit. I'd have been bored or pissed off if I were them LOL!!! I told the boy who plays RJ that he's good asked him he liked his scenes with David/Edmund and he said "Yeah" and then I just had to mention the barn fire to which he said the cutest thing he was like........."Yeah it was cool, but it was hot though." LOL!!! Awww told boy who plays Zach, "I see you in the Cheerios commercials..." and he's like "Yeah..." LOL! All three of them were just too cute!!! RJ, Zach, and Robbie were at a table.

So we then to The line with Jordan Clarke, Tina Sloan and Beth Chamberin. Now...after this event I just love JC. He had a bottle of Heineken and my moms like, "Oh that's a no no" and I go to him "Eh...it looks GOOD on you!!!" LOL And he's like "yeah I look good now". So then we posed for a pic and he's like, "Oh you're the perfect height for me. This is the master race right here!" Love this guy!!! And then it was adorable because later when we went to TP and RC's table...Jordan was like.."Now you be nice to those ladies..." and Tom like edged up to me and was all like........"Hey...." LOL JC just seemed to like us. Then, Richie Coster...MAN!!! I was like "OMG, I love your accent where are you from?" He's like "London" and I'm all like "Awww, OMG cool!!!" And he goes..."I love your's too, very exotic!" LMAO!!! Seriously...towards the end of the Nate story...I FELT FOR HIM!!! Nobody deserve to get shredded uner a boat! I said, I was actually said to see you go and Tom's like,I was too. I also told Tom that I LOVED his hat!!! Very alla Sly Stalone in those Rocky movies............very nice Also while while waiting on TP and RC's line...David saw us look at him and he gave my mom and I one of these huge "SOS Help Me I'm from titianic" waves...you know! Those big over your head with both hand waves? Yeah he gave us that LOL!

We went to CC next I believe. She seemed to love the fact that I liked her character because she was the onlytruly ambitious, strong woman on the show imo, and that's why she always got screwed. And how she's not all "let me do my nails I'm a bimbo" like the others...and CC's like, "Right there's nothing wrong with being ambitious and I need more people like you to like Olivia" LOL!!! And she signed for us..."To powerful women!!!" LOL! CC is fun!!!

So...........I believe at this point we may have headed back to David.......maybe? Let's just say we did for the sake of time and space...... The excuse for the second time this year was going to be, 1)I didn't get to hug David 2) Mom didn't get a pic with him 3) I didn't kiss him on the cheek...

So we wait on the line all embarassed. I chat with fun people. Mal's mom was behind me at one point and she and some other women were talking with me about David and Edmund. It's soo embarassing to go on the line again....I always feel so IDIOTIC...but again, it's DAM...Pride goes to hell! LOL! So he's like..."Back again!!!" and I'm all like........."Oh I'm sorry, I know we're stupid..." or something! LOL! So I kissed him on the cheek for old time sake, for a pic....and then someone got a pic of me, mom, and David. So then...my mom somehow got talking with MOL and suddenly David and I were sorta talking, and THIS was when things really started to hit me Like, I wasn't at all sad or emotional before, but suddenly we were talking and I realized there was really nothing more to to say than...and so I just touched him and said to him..."And you're just sooo talented and you, you don't realize it......." and he's like......."That's so sweet, thank you...." and I gave him a hug and he may have said "all the best" or something, because said and him too and that whatever he did I'd enjoy and it'd be wonderful..........and he was really just touched...and for some reason as we walked away I started to tear up. Like, I don't know what it was about that little..."You're just so talented and you don't realize it..." moment that got to me...but it did and then for the rest of the day...things got to me. It's so touching really. This whole DAMN thing!!! I also asked him hows his kids, the family etc....he said everybody's good.

So of course, my timing is NEVER good so I go to chill and then Miriam comes over and says they want to take a David's Den pic. So I'm like oh dear I just saw him for the SECOND time, TWO minutes ago!!! I mean I was soo scared to go again LOL! And the problem with me is...it's not like I can just hide so....... So we're on the line to take the pic...and I dunno if he spotted me or I just said it, anyway..I said this nice and loud........."Oh god, he's porbably just so sick of seeing me!!!!!" and David w/out even looking up from the other person's photo he was signing said......."No, I'm not Angela." And I kept telling him, I'm like...."They made me come...." he's like "Riiight!!" LOL!!! So we take the "Denners" pic and it was adorable because David was like..."Wait that didn't take ....you should do another one..." and his face is always so fulled with conern like..."Oh no!!!" LOL And I just find it adorable that this guy, who could easily say...."yeah yeah it worked whatever, move on.." wants to make sure that everything works for everyone, that everyone gets their money's worth...etc. Awww!! At that point I asked if I could get a kiss on the cheek from him for a pic and of course he agrees.......(God knows why..) but he did it too soon so I got a nice long held kiss on the cheek and then had to say ummm again....because it didn't work,so I got a nice other one. Seemed BETTER this year...I dunno why. He He!!! And I was like, I'm sorry thank you and he's like...."My pleasure". Oh that voice!!!!!!!!!!! It just is so floaty and tender and exudes care. I think I half hit him over the head with my Davids Den hat too because I was trying to say when we took the pic, "Do you want my hat?" but he didn't catch that. Yeah that was stupid......but I had to get it in there..........it was like bye...HIT LOL!

So then........it's the end and of course David is still there with people. So suddenly he's starting to leave and everyone is following and he's like, "I don't see any security anywhwere..." LOL!!! And then someone commented that David was the "Pied Pipper"or something becausue really the way everyone was following him out was like some nursery rhyme...or musical. I thought it was like Wizard of OZ when the munchkins follow her out of the yellow brick road LOL Then I'm like why don't you sing something and he was half bopping along. Then when we got outisde poor David of course ended up against the sort of railing I guess you'd say........he ended up at the EDGE where when you look out you seee elevators and when you look DOWN several floors you see the lobby etc. David says to this mass of us..."Okay guys fine let's have it............" gesturing like push me over...I'm like "Awww no!"LOL! I guess the mass of people was sort of comical. Anyway.......we AGAIN say a few words get a few hugs............we mention upstate NY because my mom is like........"How do we say goodbye to you? How am I going to deal with this one (me) on the way home?" LOL Cuz he's gone and he even gave me one of those fake puppy dog faces he gives people as Eddie when he's fake sad LOL! Sorta like yeah..it's so sad that I'm leaving. Cute face LOL! And so I said how I'm going to Oneonta State and he's like..."Oh that's near Hartwick isn't it?" OMG YES!!!!! LOL! Right practically across the street. And he was like, "Yeah, I know it I know it..." So THAT I thought was very cool!!! Hugs, Hugs.....etc.....................

But STILL that's not enough. No no no!!! Off to the lounge/bar upstairs...which we've NEVER done before so I'm so happy we did it was worth it. He comes puts his bags down in the booth next to MOL and goes up and hangs out. At the bar it was just cute imo to watch the stars in their element and just kinda see them interact with each other. A good amount of them came up......TP, GT, CC, JD, MB, KZ, BE, MOL, DAM of course....ummmm yeah good amount. OMG RoBo!!! Yeah Robert Bogue. What a guy!!! He got big kick out of how I was reciting the fun scene where Edmund is waiting for Mallet at the hospital and he's like....."I want soda, I want a candy bar......" LOL! RoBo's words were..."Yeah that was fun" and he seemed sad about David leaving. He loved that I said..."But it was okay that YOU arrrested Edmund cuz you're cool........" and he was also so cute when my mom was sorta worried if we were keeping him and he goes..."Oh I'm hungry I'm in no rush............" Also polite was when we commented that he had a long line...and he at first was like, "Oh was it long? That's good!!!" but then he was like.."Oh but no, I'm sorry for you guys becuase you had to wait." Awwwwwwwwwwww!!!!!

A bunch of other stuff happened but right now its getting very late so I'm gonna highlight the big stuff.........

Asked David what he'd like to do next and he said he'd really love to get back on stage again, but he hasn't done it in a while but he'd love to. I said that's awesome keep us updated.

Also cute, is how really.....David's almost become too familar. When your'e in the bar and he wallks by you and just casually says "Hey..." LOL! It's just crazy. It's surreal that soap stars can be so "human". It's GREAT for them though. Really is the good business, if you aren't like......"I wanna be so hot and have everyone look at me..." LOL!!

I also told David at one point when he walked by that "REAL MEN WEAR PINK!!!!" He was like yeah.........lol

It was cute to see him at the bar and see him decide what to order because they had some person who like ordered stuff for them. I dunno it was cute he like looked all in thought and panned the bar and everything. LOL Deciding what to drink is serious business. Later he said that he shouldn't have anymore because he had to drive, and BE randomly says..."Well I have to drive too, but I'm going to have a cheeseburger" LOL!! Also it was cute because David hugged Tom at the bar and Tom sort of gave his British friend to David to tallk to. I was waiting for a drink then so I tried to eavesdrop. Sounded like they were talking politics, etc....

I did also overhear one of his cell phone conversations. His mother called!! Awww. It was cute he was like, "Oh hi" and "Well, I'm at the Guiding Light Fan Club Luncheon..." he laughed and then he's like, "Love ya, bye" I was like awww so adorable!!!!!

Then also the nice lady with the British accent who I know from some of the boards,maybe here too was talking with him and I was too. I was going on and on about how I love British accents and David told this story how he had bene working at GL for like a few weeks and one of the people working there was British and they came out before break andhe was like..."Oh so you going home to see your family on holiday?" And David's like, "NO, I'm an American" LOL! It was so cute all these Brit expressions being thrown around. I freakin LOVE british stuff! LOL Or Scottish or whatever....also he and her were talking about Washington DC, so all I could interject was..."We went there in sixth grade on a safety patrol trip". LOL Also back to the accent, I told him about that "What are hash browns?" moment that Eddie had with Buzz back in 2001 lol...cuz his accent was fun then. David's like, "yeah what's a hash brown?"

Okay, now here's a moment that I really found touching. David was very bubbly the whole time at the Luncheon and unlike Jerry when he took the mike he didnt even really SAY he was leaving the show etc.........so this made this moment even more sweet. THe thing that's sad is that he's already DONE taping so these GL co stars got to see him again for this one day after not seeing him in several, its sad and cute. At one point he was sitting at the booth where the actors were and he was talking very sort of seriously with BE and then I saw her just hug him in the middle of the convo. and then continue and I was just like awwww and then it continued looking just as sad and serious as before. But the REAL touching part for me was when GT came up from behind the booth and gave him a hug.......and he looked like he may have said something to her and then when she walked away and he sat back down, he just had this total pensive , emotional look and My mom, Nancy, and I were all looking and could tell. It was just the most sweet adorable thing. His eyes had it...he really looked misty and it was just so cute and he sorta turned to MOL and then the waiter came and the way David gave him this "keeping up apearances" smile...very Edmund-esque very touching!!!

Anyway...........the LAST part. We approach their booth to say our final goodbyes..........and David says to those in the booth when I come up..."This is my biggest fan! This is also my tallest fan." Awwwwwww!!!!!!!!!!! And then my mom was saying about how at the April Caberet i felt so freaky cuz he wasnt there and how every time we go its a big saga..."Can I wear these will I be too tall?" and then my mom menitioned how my dad is 6'1'' and David goes "wait you're dad is 6'1'' but aren't you 6'2''?" LOL! And I don't know if he was teasing or serious, but it cracked me up anyway...........and I'm like no I'm like 5'11'' and I have heals on and John D actually was like..."Oh the perfect height". So then we HUGGED David again..I got a nice shot of him and my mom hugging.........and it was just sorta hard to leave. My mom was like..."How do we say goodbye?" And as I said earlier...I get the impression David didn't want to leave either...or else it might start to hit him more too. It was all very adorable!!! Also when he last hugged me he called me "darling", which I thought was just too adorable.

So we got our bags and jackets and then even on the way out gave a quick Bye and he said Bye. Wow.............DAM!!!!!

It's soo sad yet so exciting too!!! This year was certaily the best one!!! Just the way he acted and how he actually reads the stuff you send and eh way he acts so casual with me like he knows me for years its like are you serious? LOL!! Crazy!!!

David is the most talented, sweet, classy man around!!!

I'm still very excited...cannot wait to see pics.......but it's like four am and this post is SO long and I'm SO sorry........and I know already I'll be coming back to talk about things I forgot so...........

In short...the DAM love has come full circle. David rocks!!!!!!!!!!! And thanks for making it again, so wonderful and so memorbale...you're the greatest!!!
