The first event I went to was the Bloss Bowling on Saturday. I had fun at that event last year, and it was fun again this year. I posted some pictures from this event here.
And as if I didn't like Jerry enough ... He takes a look at the Red Sox hat I was wearing and starts making comments about the Yankees. He's a Yankees hater!
On Saturday night, I met a couple of friends of mine that live in the area for dinner. And my friend Jen ended up joining me at Brad's concert. The concert was great. Brad put on a really good show. Mandi, Ricky and Kim also joined in with the singing ... My friend didn't know what to expect. The only time she had ever seen Guiding Light was over 12 years ago when we were roommates in college.
And then, of course, there was the luncheon on Sunday. David got a very LOUD standing ovation when he was introduced. And I think he was really touched and overwhelmed by it. But HELLO, he totally deserves it!
Anyway, if you haven't seen the pictures of David getting introduced yet, you can find them here.
Michael O'Leary -- OMG, when he was introduced, he did impersonations of the Lewis family. HILARIOUS! His Billy Lewis impersonation was dead on. I'm still chuckling thinking about it.
So, anyway, I head over to David's line, and it ends up that he remembered me from last year. I got a wave while I was waiting, which was nice.

So, while this is happening, there's Tanya in the background yelling at him to take his second layer off.
I gave David a "Den" t-shirt, which he showed to MOL and FD. And I gave him the thread from all of you, which he was very grateful for ... And since I work for the National Fire Protection Association, I gave him a little goodie bag for his kids that included some Fire Prevention Week coloring books and stuff. I said to David, "I figured this would be appropriate since Edmund has started two fires in the past year."
Oh, and for you Denners who contributed to the train for him last Christmas ... he mentioned that gift right off the bat. He was very touched to receive it, and he said his son loved watching the train. He also apologized for not responding to the gift (he's really bad at those things).
So, I took a couple of pictures before moving on to other lines.

From there, I went to RB and GT's line. I was really looking forward to meeting RB since I think he's done a great job as Mallet. Very nice guy.

So, then I head over to Kim & Robert's line, and here I almost get into a brawl with Kim.
Well, Kim had a few things to say.

After we take the picture, Robert says, "You know what the best thing about that picture is? ... You can just feel the tension."
I hit JVD's line next. I'm still in denial that he's actually gone from the show.
After that, it was back to David's line. This is when I got the picture signed for all you Denners. He was very gracious for all the support the "Den" has given him, and he gladly signed the picture. I'm sure most of you have seen it by now, but for those of you who haven't, you can find it here.
By this point, I was happy to get out of that room the luncheon was in. I was sweating my butt off.
After the luncheon was over, a bunch of us headed up to the bar. Quite a few of the actors were up there, as well, including David. Before he left, David spent about 20 minutes at our table just chatting about Edmund. It was pretty cool. Neasie asked him to do Edmund with the accent for us, which he did.
Anyway, that's my "brief" recap. It was a fun weekend, and I have to mention that it was great to see everyone -- Tanya, Shelli, Neasie, Missy, Angela, Annee, Dawn, Nancy, Miriam (great to meet you), Rachel and Rell. Did I miss anyone?? I hope not.
I'll close with a few more David pics.

And finally ...

Let me just say that it took three kisses to get this picture. Tanya "claimed" that she couldn't get the camera to work.
Well, that's it!
